Fauvism is a style of les fauves (French for wild beast). Its a short lived and loose group of early 20th century modern artist whose work emphasized painterly qualities and strong colour over the
representational or realistic values retained by Impressionism.
I love how colorful all the paintings are, very beautiful to look at.
